With over 144 trillion square meters of surface area available to be worked on, Mars has enough space for commercial, industrial, and residential use.
A type of heavier hydrogen called deuterium is ample on Mars than it is on Earth; as liquid heavy hydrogen, it would be able to produce as much energy as 20 tonnes of coal; which reduces carbon emissions.
The use of this type of energy could be implemented into homes and could be an industry itself in Mars’ economy.
