#28 The Mary Celeste
In 1872, a ship named the “Mary Celeste” was discovered empty in the vast Atlantic Ocean. While its cargo was intact, the lifeboat was missing.
Researchers, to this day, have no answer to why the people on board would have left a fully functional ship.
Over the years, the ship’s daily log has been carefully examined; however, it revealed nothing alarming.
Theories such as an attack by a sea monster, pirates, etc., surfaced, yet the truth will never be known since the crew was never discovered.
