Right outside the CIA’s headquarters in Virginia, you will see a strange statue that stands at 12 feet tall. Made using curved copper, this was first seen in 1990.
With a peculiar Greek name, “Kryptos,” meaning “hidden” or “secret,” this statue features 1,800 characters.
These characters make up four messages, out of which only three have been solved.
Despite continued efforts by cryptographers around the globe, the fourth and final message remains undeciphered.
