5. Initial Launch
The Apollo 13 launched on April 11, 1970, from the Kennedy Space Centre, was the seventh mission with a full crew in the Apollo space program. The duration of the mission was 5 days, 22 hours, 54 minutes, and 41 seconds. The date of docking was April 11, 1970, 22:32:08UTC and the undocking date was April 17, 1970, 16:43:00 UTC.
Ironically, the first few days went off very well for the astronauts and even the crew at mission control were very happy that the mission was going so smoothly.
