In the year 1994, Jim Lovell and Jeffrey Kluger got together to write a biography on Lovell’s missions with special emphasis on the ‘successful failure’ mission;ie the Apollo 13. The book was called “Lost Moon: The Perilous Voyage of Apollo 13” and became a hit. Likewise, Liebergot and David Harland joined hands to write the “Apollo EECOM: Journey of a Lifetime”. “Failure Is Not An Option” was released by Gene Kranz, the man who directed the entire mission and it became a bestseller.

Andrew Chaikin also wrote a non-fiction book on the Apollo 13 mission called “A Man On The Moon”.
