#30 The Brain Remains Alive
When we die, there is no realisation of our surroundings. It’s like slipping into a state of deep sleep from which there is no waking up. Though most organs in our body stop almost immediately after the body is dead, our brain continues to function.
In a new study, scientists have discovered that the human brain continues to function for up to 10 minutes or even more in some cases. This means that our brain may be aware of our state of death.
