These Are the 30 Longest Living Animals on Earth

Killer Whale

#7 Killer Whale

Killer Whales are not as vicious as their name makes them appear. Also known as Orcas, Killer Whales have a lifespan of over 90 years.

While the name suggests that they’re whales, Killer Whales are actually part of the oceanic dolphin family, being its largest member. They have high levels of intelligence and understand humans as well.

Killer Whales prefer living in the regions extending from the poles to the Equator. Their diet mostly consists of penguins, fish, and sea lions.

They may even consume smaller whales – the behavior which earned them the name “Killer Whale.”
