#16 Fin Whale
The Fin Whale has a grand lifespan to go with its grand size! Second only to the Blue Whale, the Fin Whale is the largest mammal on the planet.
The longest life that researchers have noted is 114 years, though these whales commonly live to reach 80 to 100 years of age.
Fin Whales do not have a fixed habitat, and you can find them in oceans all around the world.
Fin Whales are also called Razorback whales, owing to a distinctive ridge running along their backs behind their dorsal fins.
Another feature that makes Fin Whales the most unique-looking whales is the shades of their jaw. The lower left jaw is black in color while the lower right jaw is shining white!
