26. They Have Good Knowledge of Weapons

Much like the Paleolithic men, the Sentinelese are known for fashioning their own tools and weapons. Much has been written about their old-fashioned weapons which are made by the natives themselves by hand. They carry their own bows and arrows and also carry knives.

It can be assumed that wood forms the base for most of their weapons as the natives came to know about metal only much later after a ship called the Primrose was wrecked near their island. Archery is probably taught to young children too and the sharpshooters are entrusted with guarding the island.
