#22 We Only Use 10% Of Our Brain
This is a myth hard to kill; it keeps making appearances now and again, especially in quotes, social media, pop-culture or even sage advises that are unasked for. If, in reality, someone was to use only 10% of their brain, they’d probably fall like a lump of meat with no responses to external stimuli.
The feeling that we don’t really use much of our brain might stem from the fact that people feel intimidated by high-intelligence tasks involving sciences, mathematics and creativity.
This myth is often attributed to geniuses like Einstein, but it is a myth for we end up using virtually every part of our brain, from autonomous systems like breathing to motor functions and even intelligent tasks of day-to-day life.
