28. Stepping On A Manhole Cover
In everyday life, stepping over a manhole cover isn’t a big deal, but if you are in Sweden, it’ll be an entirely different story. Stepping over a manhole cover can prove either lucky or unlucky for you, depending upon the symbols engraved on the cover.
Swedish people hold great faith in symbology. As a result, the covers are labelled with either K or A. If you step on the manhole cover on which the letter K is engraved, then it is a sign of good luck because K in Swedish stands for love.
On the contrary, if you step on the cover labelled A, then you’ll be hit by bad luck as the letter A in Swedish represents heartbreak.
