#29 Ill-Treating The Dog
Many may find this point redundant but cases of cruelty by dog-owners isn’t unheard of.
Owners may want a well-behaved dog and may quickly lose patience if it doesn’t pick up tricks, making them deserving of punishment in the eyes of the owner. These punishments can be meted out in many forms including but not limited to hitting the dog with sticks, choking the dog with their collars, starving them, kicking them, leaving them outside at night, chaining them, or simply locking them up in a confined space.
No one deserves maltreatment. It is utterly deplorable and inhumane.
