#21 Not Vaccinating
Prevention is better than cure. As the old saying goes, it’s necessary to take precautions in the world right now, as many know, treatment can be pretty expensive.
Vaccinating dogs against common diseases is an effective way of ensuring that not only do they not catch any disease but also aren’t carriers of the same. Diseases like parvovirus do not require direct contact, they can be passed through saliva.
DHPP, Rabies, Bordetella, Lyme disease, Canine influenza, and Leptospirosis are some of the common vaccines available for dogs. Preventive measures like these are a good way of ensuring the pooch’s longevity.
