#3 There Are Five Types Of Vegans
The basic idea of going vegan is to avoid all animal products. However, the reasons behind going vegan could differ from person to person. As a result, there are five different types of vegan lifestyles.
Dietary vegans do not include animal products in their food but continue to use them elsewhere, such as in clothing and cosmetics.
Whole-food vegans are advocates of consuming whole foods such as fruits, vegetables, grains, and nuts.
Junk-food vegans are people who consume high amounts of vegan processed food, whereas raw-food vegans are those who consume only raw food or food that has been cooked below 118°F (48°C).
Lastly, there are fruitarians who consume high amounts of fruits and limit their intake of high-fat foods such as nuts and avocados.
