Now, in a new review vegan diets have been found to provide relief in arthritis ailments. A recent study conducted on 40 arthritis patients revealed that those who followed vegan diet plans showed higher energy levels and reduced pain as compared to those who were on an omnivorous diet.
A separate study was conducted involving probiotic-rich, raw vegan food on patients with rheumatoid arthritis. The findings of the study were similar. Patients who consumed vegan foods showed improvements in joint pain and had reduced morning stiffness.
