20. Astronaut Sunita Williams Once Completed an Entire Marathon on the ISS
Two hours of exercise per day is one thing. But completing a marathon is something else entirely. And that’s exactly what Sunita Williams did in 2007.
She ran the entire Boston Marathon the same time her sister and another astronaut were running in the actual event on earth below. It’s just too bad she didn’t have the COLBERT treadmills to do it.
Williams completed the entire marathon in 4 hours and 24 minutes. That’s only 30 minutes slower than the average on eath!
