#24 Sleep Deprivation Kills Faster Than Starvation
Poor sleeping habits lead to many serious health issues. One can stay hungry and starve for a week; one would get weak and hungry and seem thinner but shall be fine. But if one were to stay without sleeping, the mind completely stops functioning and eventually one may die.
Amnesty International states that sleep deprivation is a form of torture. People deprived of the basic seven to eight hours of sleep a night would die earlier than those who take proper sleep.
