#7 What Grows Faster: Fingernails Or Toenails?
Nails have a special sort of protein called keratin. The nail matrix is the little pocket under the skin from where the nail starts to grow; it helps in making new cells and pushes out the old one.
These cells are already dead and have no life. That is why we don’t feel the pain while cutting our nails. Nails grow faster when there is more blood flow and as the fingers do more work than feet, the growth of fingernails is 3-4 times faster than the toenails.
