Up until 2016, only and only 14 people globally have survived rabies after showing symptoms! Yup folks, it can be that fatal. Rabies is a viral disease that is usually transmitted to humans from a bite by an infected dog or a bat. 

It causes severe inflammation of the brain, and if you’re not vaccinated with an anti-rabies vaccine, it can be very fatal, and cause death.
