Asthma is a distressing condition in which certain situations such as presence of dust or pollem can trigger the airways of the lung to narrow and produce excess mucus. As a result, the patient suffers from wheezing, coughing and shortness of breath. 

While for some people, asthma is a minor annoyance, ti can be quite severe and distressing for others. Those that develop sever symptoms may need to carry an inhaler with them at all times and use inhalant steroids to ease symptoms if they get an attack.
