#11 Diesel Fumes
Over 30 of the chemicals released by diesel fumes are declared carcinogens, as per WHO – that’s a staggering number! Once emitted, they linger on as air pollution, and can potentially be a risk factor for several types of cancers, especially lung cancer.
With several trains, buses, trucks, and cars currently running on diesel, this means it’ time to encourage the use of cleaner fuels.
