With so many of us becoming night owls and pulling off all-nighters frequently, this one is important to note! Researchers have found that people who regularly work night shifts appear to have a higher risk of developing many types of cancers.
Even though research linking sleep habits with cancer is a new field, possible reasons include disrupted sleep rhythm, artificial light exposure at night, lack of deep sleep, and more. So maybe turn in a little earlier from now on?
