3. What Exactly is Gravity?
We take gravity for granted like the air we breathe – when we drop something from our hands, we expect it to fall right to the ground. But this mysterious force is not as straightforward as you might think.
Out in the universe, and on earth itself, Gravity is both a surprisingly weak and an incredibly strong force! While it is strong enough to hold entire galaxies together, it is also technically 10*36 weaker than the force that can attract two magnets to each other.
Even more mind-boggling is the fact that when you zoom in at the molecular level, gravity as a force is nowhere to be seen. So, what’s really going on here? Scientists still don’t fully know.
