23. Can Something Be Created From Nothing?
This question may sound absurd at first read – how can something spring out of nothing? After all, any kind of matter would need some building blocks to create it, right? Well, not really, especially when you really zoom in.
Apparently, physicists now say that even the supposed ’empty’ space is full of something called ‘quantum fluctuations’, which are little packs of energy that can appear and disappear very quickly.
According to Heisenberg’s famous Uncertainty principle in physics, there is a probability that it may such fluctuations may spontaneously create matter out of nothing! But we need a lot more research to be sure of this.
