Interestingly, the deaf may continue communicating even when they are far asleep. In 2017, an elderly deaf man suffering from rapid eye movement sleep behaviour disorder was observed using sign languages in his sleep.

Though there isn’t much explanation to this incident, doctors think that it may be common among the users of sign language.
