It has been proven that long-term exposure to these chemicals could eventually cause cancer, kidney problems, thyroid issues, and even affect the normal functioning of the lungs. Experiments, when conducted on mice, showed that the mice eventually developed multiple health and organ issues on being exposed to this chemical.
